Clean water and TLC will do the trick. :) It's usually not deadly, though all my old koi's died from what seem's to be carp pox
Be updated in the world of koi. Jangankan seperti "Koi di bawah bottom drain"

    Bro Danny,
Had this problem long time ago. What I did was break it with my finger(nail) by running through it. Then I applied PP on it. After that I quarantine the koi in 0.5% salt water for 3 days. The koi fully reovered.

I know a friend who does a paste of acriflavine with alcohol and applies it on the wound...it works very well too.

Had a carp pox on my bekko once ... i scrapped it with a knife and applied antibiotic spray. It never came back and healed perfectly.
