I am sure there are plenty of male kohaku owners in this forum. I think it is better for you to be more specific on how big, which farm and fish criteria.

It's fine for any farm as long it's male kohaku.
It's because my female momotaro is going to spawning
I am looking for two strong male kohaku it's better up to 60cm.

If you are looking for spawning partner/s then you should be more particular ;;)

I have not involved in spawning before but from what I have read and observed, there are few things you should look for. But then again, if you just want to release the eggs without planning to hatch and grow it, then any kohaku or male koi will do.

For good spawning partner, it is good if the male kois can complement the lack of good criteria of the female or/and have it's own strong criteria to enhance the quality of the future kois.

    1) Pick male koi without any deform.
    2) Male koi with good and strong body
    3) Male koi without secondary hi or shimi issue.
    4) Male koi with good skin quality, snowy shiroji and strong beni.
    5) Male koi preferable not having hi spot on the eyes or fins.

Pattern will not be much of an issue. But after having all these, it doesnt guarantee anything :-D
The Japanese breeders have hundreds of pairing but to find a good one, it might take years of try and error. Mr Koi should be able to help you on this as he got experience in planned spawning.

    Brother Captain,
"Male koi preferable not having hi spot on the eyes or fins"
What will happen if male koi has "Hi spot on the eyes or fins"?

    Bro Ashfaq,
Those characteristics may inherit by the babies.
