    Hi all,

Just sharing here some of the pics I've taken at the 49th Zen Nihon Rinyukai held at the Tokyo Dome on the 16th and 17th November 2013. Pictures quality are not necessarily good as all were taken on my iPhone only but should be enough for everyone to appreciate the show and especially the beautiful Kois on display. For whatever reason the ZNA show was held at the very same weekend in Niigata. It's a shame that the participating Kois were split between two great events but on the other hand, and on a more positive side, we have two GC's to ogle upon this time... @-) and both were great Kois...!

Sadly I couldn't make it to Niigata the next day but few who did said it was just as good... I had already posted most pics on my Facebook page on the same day as it happens but these are for those who are not my FB friends to enjoy... These also include some of the pics I did not post of my FB as well...

Mt. Fuji that morning (not taken by me):

    The Dainichi GC:

    And her video:

The nice and simple outdoor setup in The Meets Port Garden in the Tokyo Dome:

Some of the very enthusiastic visitors at the show :-D (just poking fun at Mark and Steve - sigh... some people with their smartphones :-" )

The nice ceremony among the browning autumn leaves... I don't understand a word they say though... :">

The famous blue Dainichi jacket of the proud crew... I really should grab me one of those...

Let me give one free advert here for Steve Gibbins' Koi Tour. You can contact him for a jolly time in Niigata.

All the pros hard at work

More pics in the 2nd batch with the many many nice kois at the show. Stay tuned...!

More pics of the beauties on display that day:

The pics are in no particular order or theme. I just snapped any of them I found beautiful... and believe me, they are ALL beautiful...!!! Of course my iPhone camera doesn't do justice to their natural beauties. You would really have to see them in person to appreciate how truly amazing they are...

This kohaku is my personal favourite. I loved it for the quality of the beni (even, intense and solid - could dangerously be male though, which is always my mistake) and also the snow white and flawless shiroji. Yeah, I admit; I'm normally a pattern man but I'm sure I could grow to love this pattern too. Unfortunately I have no details of the breeder of this one as there was no one there to ask...

I believe this was the Adult Champion? (I really should start tagging my photos!)

And just more and more beauties...

    Pandai,
Example is as per below........... the '% and (460x331) caused problems before.
Those should be taken out when inserting........... Go and look at what I have done i.e. go into edit mode to see what I mean

Oh, ok. Thanks. That's actually the automatic naming convention used by my photo editor whenever I resized the original photos in order to fit the forum's 200k limit. It creates all this funny characters and '(' ')' signs to differentiate the files. Will remember to rename the files next time.

Thanks for the tips and help. (Y)
