    Bro @ashfaq,

Good question. And there's a good answer to that as well. The short answer is; for the love of Nishikigoi! But the long and more proper answer is; my back is okay now. I have actually been fully mobile for half a year already and no longer having back pain. On top of that, proper physiotherapy exercises and correct lifting techniques and also knowing exactly your own limit helps. I'm happy to report that I'm still okay today after yesterday's hard work. Today, Isa mudpond harvest!

    @gerry,

Having the fun of my life! Will do.

    Bro @Shukri,

    Duly noted!

For yesterday was really hardwork because it was only me, Mark and Saito-san and his son. Today at Isa mudpond they have crew of 25 people! So I just become cameraman lah... :-D

    Bro @Shukri,

I spoke too soon! As it turns out, this afternoon was another harvest at Shintaro and again we were the only 4-men crew. And to make it worse; it's a sansai pond - and you should see the size of his sansais...!!! :O

    Bro Shukri and all,

The one "bad" thing about being here is that now my eyes have been spoilt! Having seen them with my own eyes and held them in my own hands as they all just came out fresh from the mudponds, the nisais and sansais of very very high quality it will never be the same again for me... @-)

    Bro Pandai,
My eyes have been spoilted for a long time already, have never healed. Such infliction with no recovery............

Sad reality...........so many good kois there in Japan, and my pockets are not deep enough.

Hi Dato, We have a very tight schedule in Japan but most definitely we will be visiting Torazo for his splendid Kohaku and sanke. Marusho koi farm an excellent sanke breeder now. Oomo koi farm to check out his latest showa. Dainichi - the creme de la creme for breeders in Nigatta. Nogami koi farm famous for his splendid Pandora kohaku and now surprisingly establishing himself as a up and coming showa breeder. Now
Will also head south to the world famous Sakai koi farm. Probably the best in the world.

It will be an exciting trip. Will be documenting every step of our journey.

    Thanks bro @Ivanlo24, @ashfaq, @Bill, @Kekwa.

Bro @lauts, you're right; my eyes will never be the same again. In fact, the exact thing happend when I first arrived back home last night - all my kois looked very skinny! Haha! I've been ogling on all those plump beauties of Niigata for too long... @-)

Bro @Shukri, perhaps we should make a trip there together one day...? ;-)

Sis @gerry, you should know better by now not to say that you fish looks like someone else's prized fish right... :p (I'm just kidding - they do have a lot of similarities...)

Bro @Koi_Crusader, have fun in your adventure - who knows I might bumped into you there somehow one of these days... How long you gonna be there?

Bro @kolamp, so it was you who dropped by (my wife could not remember the name!)... Haha... be my guest; a good excuse for me to buy some more... My wife kept saying that if I buy any more fish, then they will all ended up standing in the pond!

@DatoLee, it's my loss to have missed the visit to your pond the other day. Mark kept mentioning your pond in our conversation which he said he had once visited. He described it as his dream pond... (Y) (Y) (Y)

Bro @Koi_Crusader, unfortunately I will be in KL that weekend and will only be back in Yokohama the week after. Too bad I'm gonna miss the oldest koi show in Japan! Nonetheless, I'm already trying to make plans to be there the week after that...
