    HI Alan,

It would be alot better if the pictures were taken in broad daylight or natural light.
The "pink" aquarium light is not helpful in highlighting your koi problem.

Pls consider taking pics with white light or daytime sunlight.

looks like its just niban hi on both the kohaku and shiro based on the picture. Have you been feeding too much color food lately?

I never feed them color food i always feed them with saki hikari hi growth only. That's make me confuse what to do to this koi.

Looks more like secondary Hi. Most probably due to genetics.

Ok. so we can rule out spirulina and acidic water as the causes of the sudden niban hi if it is niban hi.

Can you inspect closer if these are pigment or bite marks from argulus?

If it start from yellow dots and gradually turn to pinkish red than it is bacterial attack.

Dear hdcu I think it is not a pigment or bite marks cause is from the body inside. I try to remove by hand but it still cannot. I will try to take clear and closer picture.

    Dear ghyeap
Most of them is yellow dot and it never turn pink but it got 2 dots which is little pink look like pimples.

I think there is no treatment for secondary hi bro.... you need to manually remove it...

Manually remove means you have to dope the fish and manually remove the affected scales and underlying beni...

I also heard before someone mentioned lemon juice... but I heard it is quite corrosive... not sure la...

But if it was up to me, I'll leave the fish alone and don't stress them. :)

From your last photo, the red pinkish dots near the tail looks very much like bacterial attack. You can leave it as it is for now but if it spread further or the red dots grow bigger with whitish or yellow slimy covering over it then it is confirm bacterial attack. For further advice, email me at ghyeap2u@gmail.com
