    Thanks,the showa is our 1st mini koi show Grand champion and won a lot of major prizes before :),yes,a lot of kohakus and two more 70 plus cm kohakus coming back from japan end of this month:),going to add a shiro soon :) thanks

    thanks all for comments.....by the way, do you guys think my shusui pass 80cm?the karashi pass 1m?i am very bad in handling kois and quite hard for me to measure the big girls:)

    What's the last measured size of yr Shusui & Karashi???
    Any photos of yr Jumbos?

    If U have a measurefobia???? U can submerged a 1m scale at pond bottom...
    Snap a photo when they sit on top....

    Sometimes, they barely moved at their favourite spot... L-)

    thanks for the words,for me 10kois for my 18 ton pond are overcrowded alreday,best is 8 to 9 kois,i try to achieve 5 tons/koi for my new pond :)

    1 koi for 5 tons definitely will workable...............but only in several early months..then come sakai auction, grow out, discount sale, etc and soon it will become 1 to 2 tons ratio....:-D

    Bro YTH, winning isn't just about how much u spent on a koi. Of course a high quality koi is definitely more expensive but the more expensive kois does not mean they are of a higher quality. Even if they are the condition needed to win big at shows is about timing too. Question now is how we are able to judge and groom the condition and if it is sufficient to contend before even considering winning. I am no expert at this mind u.

    Just some update of current koi collections to share....seriously overcrowded in the 18 ton pond :),17 pcs of 70cm plus to 90cm plus kois,1 pc at 70cm,1 pc at 50cm.....
