Comments: Fp. Gardneri Misaje can be kept in a permanent set up in a 5 gallon aquarium. I recommend having a Heater that attached to the rim of the tank as it is easier to adjust the temperature. The warmer the tank the more eggs that they will lay. I recommend adding peat moss to the tank or the filter. Soak the peat pellets in water then rip the little mesh bag off the peat and squeeze dry. Then add to the fish tank. This will soften the water and promote breeding. I recommend feeding live black worms as this will allow the killifish to be in prime breeding condition. Add Spawning mops to the tank. Pick eggs every day and store them on peat moss. Great fish to keep in a species only tank. Very prolific and have a great personality. The eggs can be kept in bags on the mops or water incubated or even put on peat. I recommend peat storage of eggs as they are less likely to fungus. I recommend regular water changes of 20% once a week.
