I was quite pleased to come acrossed this product; it may not be new for the majority part of the U.S. but for northern idaho it is :) Its a wafer with algae and a mix of other nutrients for algae eaters and other bottom feeders of your tank.

I have such a majority of bottom feeders (cories, loaches, plecos etc) i was happy to find one food that suited them as a main meal (with occasional supplements)

I'm hoping this is a good product and if anyone has used it i'd love to hear Your reviews.

My only dislike for this product is its high price for small package. but then again I got it at petco where they've just upped their prices tremendously. a box of filters i bought at walmart for $4.95 were 7.95 at petco..

Anyways ... anyone like this product? :)

Not to common around here but I been using it over the past year. Kinda pricey for the amount you get. The small size wafers helps in feeding fish in some of my tanks in that I don't have to break up the large Hikari wafers I've also been using.

Yes we've tried the wafers twice. All of our 17 of our 19 aquariums loved them. They are a little to pricey for our taste and especially since they don't come in a large bag. But we are all fins up at our home for these wafers. We splurge every now and again for them.

I know My fish love them, even the pleco comes out ahead of time when he knows its feeding time.

You may want to try www.aquariumguys.com to see if they have the wafers at a cheaper price. I haven't checked them but they have great prices on a lot of the foods that they carry.

I just picked up a small packet of these. I have used Hakari and other larger wafer tabs so I was a bit "feh" about the little wafers.

So far they seem to be cleaning them up. I have breeding Pandas and Apple snails. Even the endlers are investigating them. They sink nicely.

I alternate algae wafers with shrimp treats. Since my pandas are breeding fools, I guess I am doing something right.

I like to rotate my product maker selection so that I can be sure to cover all nutritional bases. I also buy only what I can use within 3 months of opening. I dont use enough to jusstify the giant economy size. Manufactured nutrition that you want complete and balanced diet from degrades quickly. If it is a vitamin C containing product, don't depend on the Vitamin C being of quality after 3 months. For other products, 6 months after opening is my limit.

LOL. The largest bag that the wafers come in last about a week or two in our house. But I agree with you on using of food before it degrades.

i must not be feeding my bottom feeders enough then lol my first bag has lasted quite a while. i also supplement with other foods like fresh veggies for the plecos etc.. also i drop in some sinking cichild foods my cories like. that may be why the bags lasted a while

LOL. We have 19 aquariums and atleast 16 out of the 19 we would have to feed those wafers too that is why they don't last a long time.

well since i have cories, two kinds of plecos, loaches and my other fish who like to bottom feed also I found that these wafers actualy saved me $.. that and I didn't have to buy several kinds of bottom feeder tabs/wafers etc anymore. plus my fish all love them including the dwarf neon rainbows; the bettas etc.. they all love to eat them when small enough and even try to snatch them as they fall .. when they are too big to eat lol...

That's what my teacher uses for his aquarium in the classroom, and he says it pretty good.
