Overall: Poor
Comments: I ordered a Blue Ribbon bonsai tree but I never received my order. They claimed it was delivered and gave me a phony tracking#. They said they would send another product, but at that point (2 months later) I didn't need the product any longer and asked for a refund. It never happened and I didn't hear from them again. They do not send shipping updates or initiate contact. Every time contact was made it was because I emailed them begging for information on my order. 6 months later it is still not resolved and I told them I was going to report them and they responded with a rude email accusing me of trying to scam THEM.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Comments: Hi, My name is Mike, and I am a Customer Service Rep. with Seacorals.
The customer who wrote this opinion left out quite alot of information.
The item was sent via UPS on the 2nd of September, 2005, the order was placed late on the 31st of August. We have a valid tracking # that clearly shows that
the item was sent, and I would be happy to send this information to anyone who requests it (Service@seacorals.com).
The tracking # clearly shows that the item arrived in the local depot to the customer, but was never delivered. UPS never made us aware of the loss, and the
first we heard that it had not arrived was from the customer. When we where made aware, we instantly offered a replacement or a refund.
The customer told us that a chargeback had already been filed with the credit card company, and amongst other rude words, hung up. When the chargeback
arrived, we credited the card back, and closed the case.
In response too: "Well since I wrote the topic I disputed the charge with VISA . Visa did an investigation and they gave the money back to me for non receipt of
merchandise."
This is a complete lie. VISA never did an investigation, nor did the chargeback ever go through, we simply refunded the money when visa did a simple inquiry.
Also, please note that the buyer had a refund to their card within 45 days of the purchase, and would have had one much sooner if they had simply worked with
us and let us know the item never arrived instead of assuming we where scammers and filing a chargeback before calling. The simple fact of the matter is that
you CANNOT file a chargeback for an item 6 months after ordering it, Visa has a 90 day limitation on internet chargebacks.
We do our best to keep every customer happy. To say that we would scam someone over an item we sell for $13.99 is just silly.
Our feedback speaks for itself however. We enjoy a 99.4% positive feedback through our ebay site with over 10000 total feedbacks (Seacoral11), and a 99%
positive feedback through our Yahoo store (Seacorals.com).
I hope this better explains the actual steps that occured on this transaction.
Mike
