Comments: Aquatek Tropical Fish is one of my top 3 fish stores in town.  They have a wide variety of different fish from freshwater to marine.  They have a HUGE selection of South and Central American fish.  They always have at least 10 breeds of cories, lots of different kinds of Apisto species, tons of different plecos, a good selection of Angels and Discus along with a ton of new world cichlids.  They have a good selection of Africans cichlids as well.  They have a decent selection of community fish although they don’t carry very many varieties of Tetras.  Although I am not a marine enthusiast they have a good variety of marine species as well.  They have an OK selection of supplies and tanks but they tend to be substantially overpriced.  Staff is decent with individuals ranging from average knowledge to highly knowledgeable experts.  I like that when you ask someone something that they are not sure of they get someone who does rather than making something up.  The condition of the livestock is good and they quarantine tanks whenever they find a problem.  Presentation is good with lots of clean tanks lined up in row after row.  Their livestock prices are a little on the high side but usually not outrageous.  Overall, I would recommend Aquatek to anybody who owns an aquarium.
