Aquarium Requirements:
Likes shallow water and a lot of light. It's not a heavy feeder so plain gravel is fine as a substrate. You do not have to really "plant" Bananas, just place them on the gravel and they will root themselves.
Additional Notes:
Gets it's common name from the Banana shaped turbercles. This plant can be badly damaged by snails.
