Comments: This Petsmart is close to my house and my work so I end up stopping in almost once a week. I've been pleased with all the Petsmarts in my area and this one is no exception.
The staff is really hit or miss as you would expect in a chain store. There are a few employees at this store that are really nice and some of them are really into fishkeeping and know their stuff. Others are pretty bad. One female employee in particular annoys me. I don't mind that she doesn't know the answers to people's questions, its that she makes up answers on the spot to make it seem like she knows what she's doing. I watched her tell someone that Tiger Barbs wouldn't nip a Betta's fins as long as you only had one Barb in the tank. Someone would have a pretty sad looking Betta had the manager not stepped in. Make sure you double check the information they give you.
Overall their tanks are clean and I rarely see any sick or dead fish. Betta cups are cleaned on a regular basis. I have bought around a dozen Bettas from this store and they have been healthy and problem free. They carry nice female Bettas, I was really happy with my little CT girls I bought here. Their Otos are also pretty healthy, probably because they regularly feed them veggies.
They basically carry the same products as other Petsmarts at the same prices. Petsmart is usually a little cheaper than Petco so if I'm shopping on a budget, I usually buy my supplies here.
If you have a dog, I would also recommend this store. They have a handler that walks around and talks about training and care and she is really great. I talked to her about my Rottweiler for an hour one day and she was full of helpful advice. This Petsmart also adopts out cats and dogs and offers grooming.
