Comments: Beware!! When I picked up 4 Tetras from Petsmart I got more than I bargined for! I ended up getting Planaria!! They are small little worms that are impossible to get rid of, they hid in your gravel. I have live plants so I am not going to destroy them to get rid of these worms. So now I am stuck with them until I can tear down my whole setup and boil my gravel!:( The good news, the worms don't harm your fish (though they will eat eggs).

Small organisms like copepods and amphipods are present in any mature tank system, if yours are over running your tank then that just means you need to keep up on your tank maintenance a little better my friend!
