Origin: Lake Tanganyika

Temperature: 72 - 80°F

Ease Of Keeping: moderate

Aggressivness: Can be very aggressive

Size: up to 6 inches

Tank Size: 30 gallons

Food: Feed a good quality flake

Spawn: cave spawning egglayer

Comments: This is a territorial, highly agressive Tanganyikan cichlid. Care should be taken in picking tank mates. They love rocks. Thier tank should have lots of rockwork with caves for them to hide in.
