Just in case people were wondering what some of these guys looked like up close and personal. I took these pictures about a year ago using a digital camera attached to a microscope.
This one is a daphnia or water flea.

Very informative MontanaKat.
I went ahead and made this a sticky so that if people have questions about what a food looks like they can look here.

Okay, I have quite a few pictures of other aquatic insects...don't really know what else people are wanting to feed their fish, but I may have pictures of other stuff somewhere. If people ask, I will do my best to come up with pictures.

Brine shimp may come up. As may tubifex. Fruit flies. Mealworms. Any other fly cultures. I'm just throwing ideas out there that people may ask about.

I can get tubifex pictures taken...brine shrimp hopefully..... I know that I can get fruit flies and mealworms but that will take about 3 weeks until I am done with finals and such. I only 2 weeks of classes left, then finals, so I will get more pictures taken and put up as soon as I am able to.

Here's a ghost shrimp. I originally bought it to feed to my puffer, but he could care less, so now the shrimp just helps to keep my frog tank clean.
