Any prayers appreciated
« on: May 09, 2012, 10:20:28 PM »
My aunt isn't expected to make it through the weekend, maybe not even the night. She has been sick for a long time, and she's ready to pass on. She's at peace with her maker, her "getting well" would mean being bedridden, the prayers I ask for are that her passing be an easy one for her.

Deity of choice is wholly up to you, the spirit in which the prayers are offered is more important as far as I'm concerned.

There is no Deity but the One and no better way to go to Him but in peace. I pray that He gathers your aunt lovingly to Himself.

In my prayers and thoughts she will be.

I lost Nana two years back. I was so scared and sad that I didn't cry until two days later. But it doesn't necissarily have to a bad experience

guppyguy, i know what you're saying. yesterday was the four year anniversary of my grandmother's passing, and at first it really didnt hit me. I was numb to the whole thing, then a couple weeks later, i sat down and wrote her a letter, and it all came out like flood waters.

hang in there, Cholls!
