Black chin livebearer Girardinus metallicus
« on: July 12, 2012, 07:18:10 PM »

Hello, all. It's been a while since I have been on Petfish, and I have a tank whose population needs some thinning.
I have Black chin livebearers available. They are very hardy and have started to fill my 20 gallon tank with multiple fry.
It is hard to find this particular variety in the pet stores.
Let me know if you are interested.

Thank you!

I will get some photos tomorrow. They are a silver/golden color and flash doesn't work too well with photos of my "silver streaks."

As requested, here are the photos of the black chin livebearers.

The male has the black near the mouth and on its belly.

Here is a better close up comparison of the male and female of the species. I think I caught those two in the middle of a conversation - or an argument. :hmmm:
