I was thinking of doing a Pond with one of my types of killifish. I was thinking of making a "Pond in a Barrel" I was thinking of using a large flower pot made of plastic. I was thinking of purchasing Pond Plants and adding a large Sponge filter. I figure if I set this up and put a pair outside for the summer I can at the end of the summer collect whatever young grow over the summer in the pond. I figure this will be interesting to see if they will produce more offspring. Anyways come the end of the summer I will bag up all the fish except the original pair and maybe one pair from the project I really like and trade them in at the local pet store for cash so I can purchase a Cascade 500 Canister filter. No idea if this will work or not but if it does it will allow me to increase my income and enjoy my hobby. So any thoughts or ideas to make this more successful? Do you think this will work?
