Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone,make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

I can't get a better shot of her unless I get right up there and stand on my tiptoes, lol.  I should add a few links of chain to the basket to lower it since the chances of me growing a few inches are slim to none.  I actually do have to stand on my toes to look into the nest.

I think an egg is starting to hatch!  Either that or Momma Bird broke it.  I'm at work now so I'll check when I get home.  Woot!

Baby #1 has hatched and it looks like another egg is hatching as well.  VERY hard to get a pic as the nest is obscured by flowers now.  I just had to hold the camera in the basket and point and shoot blindly, with both parent birds screaming at me!  Got 2 decent shots out of 5.

I tried to peep in the basket this morning but got a wing upside the head by one of the parents (both were dive bombing me and screeching at the top of their lungs, lol) so I had to run back into the house! LMAO!
