Painful, yes. We went to Burlington, Iowa for the Midwest Association Bullfighters Championship and the first night he got picked up, thrown down, sat on, stomped on and popped his rib out of the cartilage in his sternum. Fought 2 more nights and won the championship. Then a week later goes to Texarkana for a bucking bull sale and gets rolled under a bull, stomped on his back and had several bruises on his lungs. Poor guy couldn't sleep soundly for almost a month.
I love watching him perform, but Burlington had me nervous. And he told me he was glad I didn't go to Texarkana because he was almost positive if I were there i'd have hopped the fence
