How do you organize all your aquarium information? How do you keep track of water changes? When you add new fish? When eggs are laid? I found a new piece of freeware called Wiki on a Stick. It works with any OS because you use your browser (with Javascript) to edit the pages in a wiki format.
I just thought it was neat. However you must edit it on your local drive. You can put it on a server but it is read only on a server. They call it "Wiki on a stick" because they use it to distribute information on a thumb drive (aka stick drive).
http://stickwiki.sourceforge.net/Aquarium people can use it to:
- Log water changes
- Log test readings
- Keep track of technical articles
- Keep lists of aquarium related links for buying products or getting information
- Store and distribute aquarium-related articles.
- and more.
Anyone can use it to:
- Keep track of class notes.
- Summarize technical stuff (like a programming language)
- Store procuedures (like for end of the month accounting)
- Write books.
- Write a lengthy how-to manual
- Keep track of ideas.
I just thought someone might find this useful.
