Mean Betta!!!!

I got a Delta a week ago he is beautiful and mostly very stoic i bought him to go into a 55gal comunity tank but of all the Betta's i have owned over the years i have never had one as aggressive as he is he flares at everything and i had to give him his own home because he was trying to attack all the other fish is this just his personality or am i doing something wrong? Any suggestions? :dunno:

Some bettas just don't get along with tank mates.  Keep him in his own tank and everyone will be much happier!

With the beautiful finnage on a delta I'd be afraid of it getting shredded so having it alone would be best for him. And as Wendy said some bettas just have a nasty temperament unsuitable for being in a community tank.

Some bettas never get along in a community tank, in my experience most bettas don't actually.
