Has this become the "I haven't completely fallen off the face of the planet" thread?  ::)

Things have been ridiculous this year.  I don't even know how to start to explain.  Three of my good friends will return late this month from a semester in Japan.  Things with a boy, who was also one of my best friends, have been... completely awful.  I've spoken to him once in the last three weeks, and that became a fight Thanksgiving night from midnight to 4.  School this semester left me constantly exhausted.  I'm happy that finals week is here and I only have one test left.

Between talking to Micah and a few of the good friends I still have in town, I've somehow managed to keep things together, for the most part.  I spent two hours today building a snow fort in front of our house.  My roommate says I should put a sign in the fort asking the neighbors for more snow (apparently a snow blower is used for our shared driveway).  All of this was done despite having another fever last night (only 99.4).

This year I've got my 10g aquarium up still, plus a 10g paludarium with two chinese firebelly newts, and a 5 gallon terrarium with my woodlice, garden snail, and four giant north american millipedes (n. annularis).  I also picked up in my basement what I believe is a marbled orb weaver.  She's pretty.  She's also definitely a she, since her eggs hatched the other week.  :P  I think there's another marbled orb weaver that got into my "Pod" tank (isopod, gastropod, diplopod) when it was much smaller, and that one's just been feeding off the fruit flies in the corner.  :P  And getting harassed by the snail, which, as snails will, makes a mess of everything, destroying the sanctity of this poor spider's web.  ::)

^I could never keep a spider as a pet but a millipede is even worse!! I had a bad experience late one night with a 2-3in long house centipede...I will never get over the feeling of it scurrying up my back and over my shoulder before I freaked and jumped out of my skin screaming. My poor hubby, he was so groggy and confused but he managed to find the stupid thing and dispose of it. I didn't sleep for a couple days after that.

Welcome back one & all. Give to the holidays to bring frends & family around.

GK4E your daughter is cute as button. I swear it seems not so long ago you brought her into the world.

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

Sad but true.

*shudder* I can't stand centipedes.  Centipedes are like... well, anyway, they move way too fast and they show too much leg.... so....  :13:  Millipedes, on the other hand, are adorable.  They just kind of stroll along majestically... and then they roll up in a ball like "oh no, please don't hurt me!" Dx

 Lurking today 8).  Really I do miss Petfish and wish I could get on more.
I have been so busy with my African tank! I am on my fourth batch of fry with possibly three more expected...I think the next batch will just have to fend for themselfs in the main tank!
I plan on taking the fry I have now and using them for store credit. I am looking to get some nice gravel or sand for my
upgrade tank for my two Blood Parrots and tigerbarbs.
I really love tigers and the parrots have really really really become favs too.  :inlove:
My cichlids are becoming quite the chore, but they are so pretty.
Work keeps me pretty well busy.  My other past time has been shopping on amazon.com!
I miss you guys and often think of how i need to be on more often!
