great point and one I that hadn't even occurred to me. while there are many many excellent teachers, there are a few that fit this bill and I do have a problem with them.

Most teachers are teachers because they enjoy teaching. If you don't, retire if you've got enough time in , or find something else before you do harm. Teaching is too sensitive of a position to do otherwise. I was lucky, I had several wonderful teachers growing up, only one that should have been retired.

Poor teachers get me wound up. Bulrush, I hope you realize that none of my rage was directed at you, nor anyone else here. I have been a Big Brother and am a mentoring type myself though, so I am pretty passionate about teaching in all the ways it can be done.

I have now been three weeks without a cigarette, maybe that had an effect on my temper too.(I don't think so, but the possibility exists.)

Cholly are you finding yourself eating more?  That whole "hand to mouth" thing was terrible for me when I quit!  The other problem was that instead of having a smoke after a meal, I'd have another plate of food, lol!

I had all my remaining teeth pulled at the same time(22), so not so much...

Yeah, but of those twenty two, five were already broken. When I hit forty, my teeth got brittle. By the time I got them pulled, breaking and infections were a common occurrence. My teeth were making me sick. Plus, healing gave me the added impetus to quit smoking, something I wanted to do anyway. I feel quite a bit better, but I don't know how much to attribute to the teeth gone or the smoking.

good grief.  I think my head nearly exploded.

I remember when my son got sent to the principal's office for playing "dinosaurs".  The school said it was aggressive play and not allowed due to "zero tolerance"
this was in kindergarten.

he also go in trouble for hugging a friend.
