Topic: what size of tank i need?

The tank sizes mentioned are the absolute minimum required for those fish.  I would try give the common to someone with a pond, as they are really better suited to pond life than tank life.  Then get a 55 gallon for the other 4.

Commons can get REALLY big in a pond.... I have one we've had for less than 2 years, and he is probably 9" long, to the end of the tail.. (if not longer... hard to estimate size on a swimming fish).  He got a good start in a 29 gallon, though, eating a bunch of snails for good protein!

a shame i really like the common and the shuku....but i will look for a home for the common...and I'm thinking on getting a 100 gallon....any advice?

well...as this is a goldfish topic so i think about goldfish...

i will create a topic on the respective area later when i'm about to buy the tank (in a couple of months) about the general recomendation...

for the moment what recomendation can you guys give me for the 4 fancy goldfish on a 100 tank and I'm thinking on using real plants....

White Cloud Minnows, plecos, you do realize you don't use a heater in a goldfish tank? I can't remember if that was discussed or not.

a whatttt???? a heater? are you crazy the water will boil...jejeje...i'm in the carribean summer all year...i got a termometer and the temperature of the water is between 30C/32C and 28C regulary with some cold days in january and feb with minimun 24C sooo hot...
