Common plecos can get over 2 feet, my dad had one for at least 16 years and when it died because of a power outage in the winter, it was 27".

The fish shop that i go to has many tin foil barbs that are all between 5 and 10 inches. I didnt intend on keeping them that long. I only really got 6 because they were small and i have had them before and just got ride of them once they got to be about 4 inches. But thanks for the feed back.

Glad to know you have a place you can hopefully trade them in.....  some stores will do that, if you are lucky enough to have a good LFS nearby.

He has 4 tanks that are over 200 gallons and probably 10-55 galllon tank. Always has plenty of room for big fish.
