Bye Bye Fishies...
« on: December 29, 2009, 07:55:42 AM »
Well, I've been off here for the netter parts of the last month or so due to a surgery I had but now that Im 110% better, I've decided to rejoin the group, stand back, and poke Cholly and SW with random objects.
Since Ive completely recovered from the surgery and feel better than ever, Ive given up on my tanks, now that Im back to working and am able to go out and randomly harrass people once again, the tanks have started to taper off. Im sure the nail in the coffin was the passing of my beloved Pablo (my 7 yo betta) who was really the only one I had the strength to properly care for. I think its time to tare down the last tank and begin into some creatures I can handle.... HERPS!!
Been looking at a beautiful black and white leo. gecko (not so much an albino... just black and white) as well as a yellow and red one (I hope to get both and name them Ember and Frost) Also found a Aus. White's TF I found on CraigsList Im waiting to hear back from... and sooner or later a beardie (Id have a snake, but my dad would put me on the streets, and its wayyy to cold this time of year). Now that this random, incoherent, senseless babble is over (though I wont say I wont add more as my brain becomes functioning)... talk to me!

NIC! I have a bit of a concern. Remember when you said you needed me to move in with you because you wanted to live with another fishy person? Is this still standing? ;)

Wow, talk about a revived topic. This was atleast 2yrs ago.
I never did get into herps tho, now that I reread this thread Ember and Frost sound like amazing betta names :)
I still have the 30gal with random guppys and endlers of all type just breeding with one another, I kinda want to see what the end result will be...
Put the B-day tank Ive been so excited about on hold since my dad gum laptop screen cracked.
But Ill get it one day, Christmas isnt too far off.
Im currently looking for odd glass containers to house a betta in... thatll be a flea market trip maybe this weekend.
I cant believe at one point I would give up fish. Im upset with myself :(
Any way, lets use this thread for just random "wish tanks"
What tank do you want and what do you want in it?
Also, can someone move this to FW Aquariums?? Just a suggestion.

 I'm kind of new but I know a bit about FW aquariums! Mine isn't ready yet. I want a betta or some Endler's livebearers.  :hmmm: I need a 20 gal to accomplish my #2 aquarium goal, which is guppy "stuff". My biggest aquarium goal is keeping bala sharks(125gal+). I don't keep track of the age of the topics, but hey, who cares!?!?!?! :bunny:
