Gathering pond plants in the wild?
« on: December 13, 2009, 05:23:07 PM »
We were just out at a local park, and saw that the pond and spring, which had been dry, was now full and running...

better yet, there were BUNCHES of healthy looking plants in there...

I have no idea what all was in there, but I sure would like some for my water garden and maybe the aquarium inside...

I wonder if I could collect some?  I may go talk to the park ranger/workers and see if they know the policy on that....

After all, everyone goes and gathers the pecans that fall!

There might probably be hitch-hikers on those plants so clean/bleach them after getting home.
50g angelfish & tetra
