tank mates

I was wondering what other cichlids i could but in a tank with convict?i have a pair and they are fixing to be moved into a 55 that is now finished cycling and waqnt to add a few diff types if possible

I generally don't recommend putting cichlids together. Obviously it works with crowding some of the rift lake cichlids but most of these fish tend to fight a lot amongst themselves when they spawn. However you could look into some of the other fish from the same area that are about the same size.  Neetroplus nematopus is one possibility

ok anyone know other fish that are from that area and would do well with convicts?
