So when you go to Australia will you still have the power to change the weather? The way you can change your birthday depending on the season & the hemisphere? *blinks*

See any hobbits? Or my precious?
Does the water run counterclockwise there?
Kookaburra ... can I have one?
What about Xena? She running around down there?

Yay for sunny birthdays!

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

What about sheep? Aren't there alot of sheep there? If there are ... it won't trouble me at all.

Wolfie, you really set yourself up for a joke regarding human-sheep relations.  (I've been in NZ too long.  I've heard all the sheep jokes.)  There are approximately 10 sheep for every 1 person (4 million people, 40 million sheep).

I feel like I should clarify... my birthday is always going to be December 5th.  However, in the northern hemisphere, December is always in winter, and in the southern hemisphere, December is summer.  Always.  Hopefully my extraordinary powers of weather control will extend to Australia.

Yes, I met a hobbit.  Okay, so he might not have actually been a hobbit, but he was short with curly hair and a hobbity face.  He told me that even his friends back in Germany called him a hobbit.  I also got a photo with Gollum.

The direction that water drains is not affected by the movement of the earth (aka the Corioliss effect) because the volume of water is too small.  I think our bathtub drains clockwise.

I'll pick up a kookaburra for you when I'm in Australia.  We don't have them in NZ.

Xena is very much around.  I don't know if she's actually living here or in the States, but she's doing all sorts of "stop climate change" commercials with Greenpeace.  Sign On to reduce greenhouse emissions by 2020.

Holy crap that is alot of sheep! I bet none of the jokes are forum friendly. lol

Are the locals sick of the whole "Lord of the Rings" phenomena? "Darn tourists! I don't freaking know any hobbits!"

Oh I forgot kookies are Australian.

Great shot there of you & Gollum. Don't forget to take some of your great scenic pics in the land of Oz.

What? You didn't like the cane toad coin purse? You can get the one without legs. lmao
