Easily bred fish...
« on: November 24, 2009, 09:12:45 PM »
I have all of my supplies from my recent fry and now I want to try again, except try to rear them successfully. Any examples? I know about guppies, mollies, swordtails, kilifish, and bettas(i do not want to breed bettas). Also some tips on rearing will help.

Many cichlids such as convicts are also easy to breed and rear. There are quite a few articles in the index of this site on breeding and raising various species.

Endlers are also an attractive, easy to breed fish.  The females are colorless, but the males are stunning.

They need to easily fit in a 10 gal. with some other community fish. I think I will try endlers for now.

Endlers are super easy and as a bonus they won't eat their own fry.
