I had actually never seen it before, until I got a "You're shi**n me" look from Eric. So now whenever I see anything relating to that scene I can't help but smile and laugh because it's just an awesome movie

I love demotivational posters and epic fails. I don't look at the websites often, but he cruises regularly so I have to give him credit for the oven and the kitty lol .... if he has any others that are family friendly, and I doubt any one has seen before, I'll throw them on here.

This would freak me out!

Went to Shanghai with Huskyband! It was really awesome, we played at an international band festival and got to see a bunch of really good groups. We spent five days in Shanghai, plus two days of travel to and from Seattle. I have a bajillion photos, but here are a few favorites. It was incredibly smoggy, and had a very interesting dynamic of large class divides. One spectrum has giant modern skyscrapers, while the other has monotonous un-structurally sound apartments and markets. Shanghai has incredible economies of scale, so their transportation systems are all fantastic. Lots of income from the populace equates to raised highways, subway, lightrail, taxi services, buses, and all sorts of other modes of transport. The most interesting part for me was the tap water. How can a city striving to be the best and most modern city in the world do so with tap water which isn't safe to consume? It just seems unbalanced...

Anywho, pics. There are a few more on my Flickr, or if you want to see them all (~250 "good" shots) shoot me a PM and I'll add you on Facebook.

Awesome pics as usual JB! A lot of Asia seems to be a massive mix of old and new. When I was in Korea(South, of course!) in the mid 90's it was not unusual to see a farmer plowing with an ox, yet on the the next field over was someone with a shiny new tractor. I'd love to go back as a tourist, I really enjoyed my year there.
