A lot of folks seem to have migrated to Facebook. I still check here more regularly than there, here is daily, Facebook is more of a notification check for me. We'd lose contact with SW if we totally migrated, his GF won't let him on Facebook. :hihi:

Very true & quite sad really.

Anyway a quick update on the sad comedy that is my life. The aforementioned girlfriend was showing me some of her new kick boxing moves & took out my left knee. Now I've got a temporary brace on. And to think, I had pushed her into taking that class. (The class was part of her xmas present 2 years back). This year I was gonna sign her up for some shooting lessons. Not gonna happen, no siree.

Anyway, I'm still down to my 2 55gs. havent bought any fish in awhile & have just been maintaining at this level. Can't see me totally divest myself of this still wonderful hobby & hopefully can retain my passion for it.

That's all for now.

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

I could never totally stop, I'll probably have at least a betta in my room when I'm put out to pasture.

Right now all I have is a group of snails, but if I can I'm going to be setting up a "couple" tanks (a.k.a. as many small tanks as possible). I already have some tank ideas in mind and I've been scoping out the fish at the Meijer down the road. They have good looking stock and they take good care of their fish department. I still need to go check out the local pet store, but their ad in the yellowpages says they sell puppies and kittens. >.>

Jeeze guys, slow down with the talking! I can't keep up.

My one year is next week. He took the day off work, so I don't know what he has planned but he better not give me a piece of string.

Bit of a nodfest lately. Speaking of which, I believe I have an appointment with my pillow. :pillow:

I slept for about 14 hours and woke up with back pain. What the heck did I do while sleeping? Get in a fight? OW.

I've kind of been considering shutting everything down...  I don't spend nearly the time I used to enjoying my tanks.  Mostly these days I just maintain them.

Maybe just keep a nice betta tank or two?  I love my betta tanks - they have plants (java fern and anubias nana glued to driftwood and rocks, as well as duckweed up top) and look so nice.  I love love love 5g minibow tanks for bettas - with some modifications to the filter and lighting that comes with them they have all the attitude of a big tank!  And they seriously take me about 5 minutes a week each to maintain.  If you keep them where you see them all the time they are so enjoyable.
