^not really sure, I'm gonna go shopping for them. I know you can get them up to like 60 gallons, which is bigger than my tank.
I really want to do a few things assuming I CAN do them...
-drill sump to run return pump externally.
-drill tank to run plumbing through it instead of using that stupid overflow box that floods my room every month.
-skin the tank, build hood, make it pretty.
-finish the internals of the stand so water cant leak through. the sump is a mess & I cant really clean it up because of the way its situated.
-re work plumbing to make water changes easier.
-Build a little Quarantine/top off/SW mixing stand next to the tank.
The problem I have with the tank is it requires to much "work" and I cant really do all of it because I'm so busy. I just want to make it a bit easier to do water changes, and I want to fix some problems that I didn't address when I was originally building the tank. (It floods... A lot...)
here's what I'm thinking for the overflow, Its based on This
. I just figured I would put the overflow on the outside of the tank to save real estate inside it. The only problem is I don't know how to reinforce the thing, and I feel like the coast to coast overflow in the back might be to big. Maybe I could divide it into thirds or something. I could put the bulkheads right on the back but that would mean an internal overflow box.
I still don't really know if its worth it, I feel like I should be buying corals and stuff, but at the same time there are some pretty BIG issues I am having with the tank that aren't really "quick fixes."
