funny you should say that. Last night my male clown managed to wedge himself between two rocks so he couldn't breath. RIP little dude.

On a happier note, I did more fragging (typical... lol)

I made these for Eric, a few yellow brown morphs, green striped mushroom, a baby superman, and some purple w/ green tipped zoas. I love these things. Hes gonna hook me up with some blues, AOG's and a few others I think.

Heres a close up of the purps.

I picked this up for 2 bucks yesterday coming home from skiing. It looks epic.

From the $10 bin, I thought it was a normal mushroom when I got it but it looks more like a Yuma now so I hope it does OK. I need to figure out where to put it. It looks CRAZY!

My frogspawn has been looking terrible for months, first I thought it was vermetide snails, then hair algae, and now I'm thinking it's too much flow and light. I moved it lower into a less flowy area today and we will see how it does. heres a pic of the poor thing.

Finally, all the greens and blues I fragged a few weeks ago attached and I glued the sand they attached onto to bigger rocks. (thats a tongue twister, lol.)

Thanks PB. :D

Here's a few pics of the stuff Eric gave me. We swapped 6 days ago.

Orange monti- a little bleached since it was under MH's when I got it, but it will get bright orange under my PC's. Its already coloring up more since I took this.

GSP, my other ones never took hold, so I'm hoping this big chunk of the stuf starts to work (don't worry its in a corner, away from everything else.)

Reverse gorilla nipples. (BEST NAME EVER!!!!)

Pinks, Super tight looking. (quite rare I might add)

Zombie Eyes. (super rare, I might add)

I don't have any pics of the last one, but its a red mushroom, the thing is tiny and its supposed to be super crazy looking. I cant wait till it colors up. So far its gone from blue to purple under my lights... Its cool how the color of corals can change so quick.

Last, I have been reading up on dosing vitamin C. Its supposed to...
1- help zoanthids grow like mad, and it should save any melting zoanthids that I ever run into.
2- Reduce Nitrates.
3- Clear water.
4- Treat disease in fish and corals, like zoapox.
5- get rid of some problem algae's.

Here's the thread, its ~90 pages long. A little more than half way down on this page there are some pretty sweet looking pics.

I've had a orange monti and it will get darker as it gets acclimated under your lights.  Trades are the best way to get your tank versatile without being broke.  Great pictures and I love the zombie eyes.  You'll have to take more pictures as they all establish themselves.

Yea trades are good. Those mushrooms I fragged are gonna be ready soon, as well as some zoanthids, I cant wait to trade/sell them.

On another note, My frogspawn sucks... It has bugs on it that I hadn't seen before, so I FW dipped it and that didn't get rid of the bugs so I need to get something more intense to dip it.

I've gotten recommendations for-
Kent Tech D.#
tropic marine pro coral cure*
coral revive coral cleaner#
Lugols*

So now I need to find some money and try some of those. I'm not sure if anyone local has them though, so I probably need to order them online. I was going to try the (*)s first and then the (#) if for some reason the first two didn't work.

I started dosing the Vit C at 1/4 teaspoon, I'm slowly working it up. My skimate is looking Gnarly... I cant wait to see what happens over the next few months.

^I still need to get those... I'm pretty sure I'm going to be going to the LFS this week to get some fish or corals so I will try to get them then.

Now for TONS of pics. Since I was sick I ended up playing with the camera some. I took these 3/13/09 and started the vit C on 2/27/09. I just got the dosage up to 1 tsp/ 2x a day. Almost everything is looking much fuller. I'm trying to get a good amount of pictures going to see the results. The fuzz on the rocks is normal, its from the dosing and will go away. My skimmer has been going nuts. Anyways...

Eagle Eyes

Cool Sea Squirt thing. (sponge?)

Stupid Greens/ Stupid frogspawn, I don't think the greens liked the light change. They are moving down and I think they are going to start filling in all of those gaps soon.

Eagle Eyes

Some frags (notice the healed blue shrooms)

Teals

Greens, I think they are Palys.
