Whoa I can see the photos. That is an awesome tank! Wonder how long the parlour palm will fit. They work great in vivs but if unrestrained uually get anywhere from 5-9ft tall as houseplants.

Well that could happen in a few years. I bet one of these next to your tank would be the perfect touch.

I think if you keep them in a pot it makes them more permanent viv plants.

Hey, I never thought of that!

I'm gonna try and rip apart the viv tomorrow because the silicone leaks into the land area and it's way to soggy and starting to kill the plants.  So, I'll need to do something about that.

and the finished product
So are there any updated photos of this tank? I would love to see it now with it filled in.

To update this.

Unfortunately the red-eyes did not work out. Well, they did. They grew and were ready to go into the tank. But lets go ahead and say that one night the screen was ajar :'(

So after sitting on the tank for a bit and realizing I'd be leaving soon...I decided to tear it apart and make a 46 gallon newt paradise. Some gold dust newts I had raised from eggs were looking at me from their sweater box and I figured they deserved better so I could watch them.

Here is how it looked last I saw it(its at home and I'm in college). It houses 5 gold dust newts, and a bunch of red cherry shrimp.
