Buy Jurassi*Cal 

You do not want phosphates. That will grow you some serious algae. I imagine you do not want flour (that should clog a filter up nicely).  I'm not sure about the flavor, while it might be okay... it's stuff you don't need.

All you should have is Calcium carbonate or bicarbonate. Exactly what JurassiCal is.

I wouldn't.  I can't imagine thats good for them to eat....

What do your snails think of it Platy?  Mine love the jello and the cories try to steal it from them LOL!  They are putting on shell like mad and have become crazy active lately so it must be better than whatever they were getting at the LFS.  I think I may take a batch up to the LFS and see if they'll feed it to their snail tank.  If they get good growth maybe I can get some fish credit for them to sell it there.  LOL I'm always scheming ways to get fish credit :)

well, i kind of made it wrong. i forgot the baby food and it didnt come out right. do i only add 1 pack of gelatin to it?

LOL...I can see me doing something like that!  I once made a cake without the flour.  Took me forever to figure out why it wasn't rising or drying like it should.   ::) 

Yes, the recipe is 1 jar of food to 1 envelope gelatin.
