Hikari stuff mostly, but my knife fish don't like a lot of prepared foods. HBH Super Soft krill formula, and now, to a lesser extent, New Life Spectrum large fish formula. Plus frozen bloodworms(they all like those) and my yoyo goes ballistic whenever he finds a snail.

Hi i am new and i had no idea about feeding my fish so the person on the store i bought the fish tank gave me some TetraMin Flakes which they liked and as you said here:

Plus frozen bloodworms(they all like those) and my yoyo goes ballistic whenever he finds a snail.

I got interested and got some and they completely love it. Thanks for the tip. =)

Be careful handling the bloodworms, apparently you can develop a reaction to them over time. Rubber or nitrile gloves work well when handling them. Sucking them up in a turkey baster works too.

In my planted, freshwater community tank, I use Aquarian sinking algae wafers (mostly consumed by pleco and adf) and TetraColor tropical flakes; I occassionally feed frozen bloodworms as a treat.

I use TetraFin goldfish crisps, betta pellets, freeze-dried bloodworms, the occasional frozen, shelled pea.  I'll also be using mosquito larvae when I manage to breed some.  xP

Diversity is always good.

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?
