He looks innocent enough.

I've suspected adf's of a few "disappearances" but after thoughts, they tend to move slower, have no teeth or tongue.

If it was him, he could have been acting in self-deffense.  Was he the same age as his brother?

It might not have been him, though as SerVo (I think) was trying to point out.  What other critters do you have with him?

Yea.  Adf's arn't equipped for attack so much, more to graze or scavenge.  An small shrimp or insect would be about the best that I could see one killing and eating.
The other adf might of simply died, and the scavenger instinctive would of identified his brother as food.
I wouldn't blame the adf.
Perhaps you can get him another buddy?
