My betta's a female, she was interested in her tankmates for about.. uhn... 2 minutes, after being first introduced into the tank. Afterwards, she really lost interest in them. Sometimes they'll even accidently smack her in the head if they swim too near her. She'll sometimes chase my Otocinclus, but I kinda suspect it's because he runs away from her. I haven't seen her do that in weeks. She's just more interested in swimming about, than anything else. I expected her to be aggressive to them during feeding, but she doesn't even do that.
I think it's because she was so young and small, when I put her in there. Now she looks like a little trout, and it's barely over 2 weeks since I introduced her. I'm glad, because she really enjoys all the freedom in the 10g tank.
My frogs really like the new plants I added. I woke up this morning, and there was a frog sitting on a big, ugly pillow of beard algae on a tall Crypt leaf.

Couldn't grab my camera fast enough, sadly.
