My betta's a female, she was interested in her tankmates for about.. uhn... 2 minutes, after being first introduced into the tank. Afterwards, she really lost interest in them. Sometimes they'll even accidently smack her in the head if they swim too near her. She'll sometimes chase my Otocinclus, but I kinda suspect it's because he runs away from her. I haven't seen her do that in weeks. She's just more interested in swimming about, than anything else. I expected her to be aggressive to them during feeding, but she doesn't even do that.

I think it's because she was so young and small, when I put her in there. Now she looks like a little trout, and it's barely over 2 weeks since I introduced her. I'm glad, because she really enjoys all the freedom in the 10g tank.

My frogs really like the new plants I added. I woke up this morning, and there was a frog sitting on a big, ugly pillow of beard algae on a tall Crypt leaf. Couldn't grab my camera fast enough, sadly.

I like your moss ball, I have a few of those things ^_^.

Nice looking tank Soritan, I'm sure your little guys have a blast in there.

Thank you. They're moving to a 20 gallon tall, this month. :D Everyone in that 10g is. I hope they like it. If they don't, they'll have to go to my 5gal. I am starting to think that if I properly gussy up my 5gal, they might even be happier there - you know, hiding spots, plants, etc. Has anyone kept them in small tanks and large ones? I know that my 5gal can handle them biologically, but I'm just not sure that they'll enjoy it there. :/

I think 2 would be just fine in a 5g. As long as they can reach the surface your good to go. As long as there's lots of hideys for them to have personal space if they need it.

Thanks Lori/Zero. I'm particularly happy with the karelinii as they were raised from eggs obtained last April...my they did grow fast!

A few more just for fun.
