That's very true. Mine is actually blind in one eye. It happened when he was being netted out of the tank at the petstore and I didn't notice the injury until I got home. It doesn't seem to bother her too much, but her eye has a noticible white spot right in the middle of it where it healed.
2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 bearded dragons,1 blue tongue skink, 1 leopard gecko, 2 three toe box turtles, 2 redfoot tortoises, 1 albino cornsnake, 1 Cali Kingsnake, 2 russian tortoises, 2 RES, 21 Paddletail Newt, 1axolotl, 1 wood  turtle. Dozens of fish.

Bob has decided that the fishtank is the best place to sleep in the house. The fish don't mind.
May I ask what size setup this is?

It's a 29 gal, but I am going to upgrade them to my 55 pretty soon. It is a lot of work keeping the ammonia down in this tank. I do 30% changes every four days. I used to do more, but the addition of the plants seem to have helped a bit.

I think two would be good. Like I said, I am upgrading my three because of the mess.

Something I've been playing around with when i have free time. 

So far i have some mosquito fish, two wierd fish that came in with a petshops goldfish delivery, and some goldfish refugees from a friend that couldn't handle the mess.
