Is this just a temporary isolation? A quart jar is way too small for an adult betta, even with frequent water changes. If anything, the frequent water changes alone will stress him out.

Yes it is temperary, I have to ship them back in 3 weeks. I'f you'd read the other tread I had about these boys you'd know the full story behind them. I may try to swich him into one of the larger containers, maybe that will make a differance.

If it is something attacking its nervs, could it be internal parasites?

The poor fish isn't looking too hot. I moved him to the half gallon bowl last night incase the small confines of the Quart jar was getting to him. I wish I new what was wrong with him so I knew how to treat him and help him get better.
