i wasnt even quite sure what he was when i bought him.  i found him at a little independent shop about a half hour away.  he and 3 others just like him were in little bowls of green water, so i couldn't tell what colors they were, just that they were plakats, and dark.  i decided to take a chance and buy one...and surprise i got a black orchid

thats awesome where do you live? i live outside of San Francisco and this store in china town has bettas in the same nasty green water, i got a beautiful blue ct female but i thought she black cause of the water, i need to check out the plakats there maybe ill find a black one

i'm on the other side of the country, in nj.  geez, with everyone finding nice bettas in chinatown, maybe i should go up to chinatown nyc and have a look around...
