10 gallon centerpiece suggestions?
« on: May 15, 2011, 05:11:23 PM »
Hey everyone, I'm setting up a planted tank. Basically something to look at that isn't stressful like my reef. I want to keep a group of celestial pearl danios, a trio of small bottom feeders, and then some sort of centerpiece fish.

Any suggestions for the bottom feeders and centerpiece fish? No bettas please, and I'd prefer to avoid ottos and keep a corydora sp. of some sort since I haven't had them before. And of course, this stuff needs to be plant friendly.

Thanks!

If you are going to keep a "group of celestial pearl danios" then I will ask you to give them a tank of their own and a dense planted background of finely foliaged plants. These timid fishes are prolific breeders under those circumstances.
If I had to live my life again, what would I avoid?

A species tank sounds fine to me, and I'll look into breeding them. I hadn't really thought about that actually.

Thanks Essabee.
