Added Lace rock for a new look
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:08:15 PM »
Added some lace rock to my 29 gallon Goldfish tank for a more natural look but still fill its missing something.
I would like to to add a few more things, just dont wanna overcrowd the tank because hes big as it is and I plan on adding a black moor in a few days. So all ideas are welcome

Tell me what you guys think?

I'm not a big goldie fan, but that tank looks great, and the fish even looks pretty good. :hihi:

I really like that rock - almost has a driftwood look. IMO the clam shell looks out of place.  How about replacing that and the plastic plant with a couple of tall anubias or a few Jungle Vals. I also think a couple more of the round pebbles/river rock would look great.

Your gold fish looks beautiful too. Nice egg shaped body and flowing fins. Out of all the gold fish varieties - veils are one of my favorites.
There is however one important underlying principle which must apply to all who have anything to do with living things. We must reconize the dignity which all creatures posess, and we must respect it for as long as we have them in our charge. - "Coldwater Fish" by Roy Pinks

Thanks, I've had her for a little over 8 years now...
Shes deff a survivor!! Shes been thru 8 moves with me in the past 8 years, but, I think shes getting old and not much life in her. Lately shes kinda lazy and lays on the bottom of the tank to sleep. Also yea I agree the shell looks out of place, I told my girl..lol but she likes how the bubbles build up and open it up smh lol
