It's just been one thing after another so far this fall.
Last month I got a flu and pneumonia shot in the same arm at the same time (done in the same arm so I could sleep on the other) and had a BAD reaction - high fever, body aches, arm so sore I couldn't move it, a lump on the arm that grew to about twice the size of an egg, and swollen lymph nodes in the armpit. All that lasted over a week.
After all that - I still got the flu (or something with "flu-like" symptoms) last week. High fever, body aches, swollen glands in the neck and the worst sore throat I think I've ever had - like swallow glass shards dipped in acid. The worst of that lasted about 5 days, and I still don't feel fully recovered from it. I was on antibiotics to try to keep it from turning into bronchitis because I have a compromised respiratory system.
Now I have a cold. Woke up in the middle of the night coughing, sneezing, snotty and with itchy watery eyes
I swear I feel like an old horse that needs to be taken behind the barn and shot. I'm supposed to be going to Miami for vacation over Christmas and I'm scared that I'm just gonna stay sick until next summer at this rate
