Belated congrats! I'm jealous. I'm down to just 3 tanks now. I no longer have the time to devote to maintaining more. That does however keeps the GF happy so that's a benefit.

Ever notice in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, make an example or needed a killing, he sent an angel? Ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? An existence spent praising your God, but always with 1 wing dipped in blood. Would you really want to see an angel?

AUGHH!!! My 90 turns out to be what used to be called an 85. I say "used to be called" because they haven't been made for ten years or so, so I can't buy a new rim. I will have to make one out of aluminum. I think I'll post the fabrication in the DIY section in case anyone else finds themselves in this predicament. I'll be making it out of two pieces of 8 foot long, 1/16 inch thick, 1 inch by 1 inch angle aluminum with 1/16inch thick by one inch aluminum strap for the cross braces.
Bit of a pain, but I've done a fair amount of metal fabrication, so I'm pretty sure I can do it. Sure enough to sink money into the materials and a couple of tools I no longer had.

I have a custom 50 long I picked up at a garage sale.... the rim is made of wood... like corner molding... mitered together at the corners like a picture frame...  hard to explain how it is made, but there is also glass tucked under that rim in the middle as a support, and also on the two ends of the tank to help support the whole thing.
