It was a hastily set up tank to which I added a couple of heavily pregnant Platy's - Two days later, I removed the females & was left with about 10 surviving fry - this was about 4 days ago.
The tank itself has only been set up about 8 days - not sufficient to "CYCLE" ..... so my questions are ...
1. Will the tank cycle with only 10 fry in it ?
2. Will the water changes be necessary & if so how much & how often ?
3. Should I keep the power filter on or off ?
4. Will the fry tolerate "White Spot" treatment ?

Any help grearly appreciated.

If you are running a filter on the tank, it will cycle.  Fry need to be fed often so there will be waste products.

2. Will the water changes be necessary & if so how much & how often ?

Water changes will be neccesary to ensure good growth of the fry.  Try for a 25% change weekly, but monitor your water quality.  If nitrates get high, you'll need to update the frequency or percentage change.  You may need to do more if you tank isn't cycled.  I would not want to see any ammonia or NitrIte in the water with fry.

3. Should I keep the power filter on or off ?

A better option would be an internal sponge filter, driven with bubbles (air pump).  You should have some form of filtration.  If the power filter is all you have, place a sponge or something similar over the intake to the fry don't get pulled in.  Adjust the filter to the lowest output you can.

4. Will the fry tolerate "White Spot" treatment ?

I guess it depends what medication you are using.  Do they have signs of white spot/ich?

Thanks for the advise Andrew ........ the only sign I've seen is one or two fry flicking against plant leaves .... possably nothing to worry about, but it's worth knowing if I need to treat for white spot.
