ok so i have 2 fire belly toads and 3 hatchling turtles 2 mississippi maps and a reeves, that my friend could take care of any more.
I have always wanted a large tank so i decided to go buy a 125 gal the other day, im wondering if at least for a little while the fire bellys and the turtle babies would be able to be in the same tank? if not i know someone who wants the toads, because i love my turtles and am not about to get rid of them.

if by hatchling you mean quarter sized (meaning theyre still that size in a 125) then yeah they could do fine together...
a 125 FBT tank would be amazing... could you imagine the spawns??

hmm, in a 125 i dont think I would worry about it... just watch them closely, normaly hatchling turtles are more veggie eaters than fish at this point, doesnt mean they wont attemp to snag something though,

yeah, i saw them trying to catch the cory cat i have in the 55 gal with them until i can set up the 125. i just have to move my tankstand to my apartment, then everything will be good.

edit: I was wondering, what should i use to make the land portion of the tank? I was thinking of trying to make a cliff face type portion in one side of the tank and use driftwood for the ramp up to it, but i cannot find any type of divider that fits the 125  i was wanting to make the tank have around 8 to 10 in of water and to set up a sort of water fall type thing coming off the corner of the land portion. and set up an undergravel filter for the rest of the tank. I am on the fence with live plants or fake plants. what do you think?

live plants will become munchies for the turtles, though, thats not neccesarily a bad thing.
you can use plexi glass to create the shelf, just use aquarium silicone to attach it...
with fake plants, make sure they are the stout plastic ones, not the ones that will be easily munched (they will munch until they realise it is not food)
I love me some turtles, I used to breed RES, I have my male left, hes around 16 yrs or so, walks the whole house, answers to his name, and begs to be picked up... also loves a nice head rub, my 55 might go to reptiles whenever that thing finaly gets set up... Id LOVE me a nice Mississippi Map or something of the like...
