Ugh so upset...I have the worst luck with this kinda stuff.

So I added 6 neon tetras to my 20 gallon today which has 5 black skirt tetras and two oto's in it (they've been there for a little over a month)

Five of the neons seem fine, they are schooling and are pretty active, but the one neon is floating in place near the bottom of the tank by itself. The other neons don't seem to be picking on it or anything, when they go near it they just swim where it is...but he has been by himself most of the night and hasn't moved from that spot and I'm concerned...

There are no visible signs of any other symptoms/illnesses.

Is there anything I can do, or do you think he was just injured when he was caught at the store??

There probably isn't much you can do except seperate the fish. As you mentioned, it may have been injured or stressed from the move. It is fairly common, I have seen a lot of fish injured by poor netting and mishandling, squishing them with the net frame is a common mistake, especially with fast movers.

Hopefully you bought the fish at a place that has a replacement guarantee?  Most stores will replace it if you  bring in the dead fish and the receipt (within their time frame).
